The data that is used to derive the insights and charts are obtained from Product Hunt using their public API. There are few things to understand and note.

• This data is from the API and not directly from Product Hunt. The detail of the data and the specificity is from the API.
• Since the data is entirely with Product Hunt, there might be changes in how the API works, what it returns at any time. During those changes, there might be reports, insights that might not work in Whentolaunch or might need to be fixed.
• All the products launched in Product Hunt are based on the PDT timezone (-7:00 UTC). When converting this into local timezones for users, it will create unnecessary confusions when choosing the dates. So all dates chosen is the PDT date.
• Since the data is got using the APIs, this is not live or real time. Although we try to update this as soon as we can, it will atleast be a maximum of 5 minutes later than when it happens.
• In Product Hunt, a user who has upvoted for a product can again remove the upvote casted. This will reduce the total number of votes. Due to the restrictions and time constraints to get actual votes for each product, we are not considering the cases where a user removes their upvote.
• Due to the above said point, there might be a small deviation between the actual votes for that product in Product Hunt and the votes shown in Whentolaunch.
